“RUSSIAN DOMOSTROY” Association of manufacturers and vendors of Russian household products, represented by A.K. Maslennikov, the Chairman of the Board, on the one hand, and “NEXUS OF GENERATIONS” Public Foundation, represented by Dr. N.V. Evsenkin the Chairman of the Foundation, acting on the basis of the Charter, on the other hand, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, during a joint meeting of the Board of the Parties dated 15.11.2019, made a joint active initiative (hereinafter referred to as the Initiative) on the following:

1. SUBJECT OF INITIATIVE

1.1. The subject of the Initiative is the formation of public support for the introduction in Russia of the “Kosovorotka Day” Folk Fest (hereinafter – the Folk Fest);
1.2. Mission of the “Kosovorotka Day” Folk Fest: strengthening the national unity of the Russian people and all indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation, promoting a positive image of Russian culture and lifestyle abroad.
1.3. The celebration date for “Kosovorotka Day” Folk Fest is July 12: Day of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the day the haymaking began in Russia. On this day, parents gave their young sons new braids.
1.4. This Initiative is public non-profit.

2. CONTENT OF INITIATIVE

2.1.The content of the Initiative is set out in the Concept of the Folk Fest (Appendix No. 1 to the Initiative);
2.2.Folk Fest Concept is an integral part of the Initiative.

3. PROCEDURE FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INITIATIVE

3.1.The parties form a working group on the formation of the Organizing Committee of the Holiday consisting of:
– Evsenkin N.V. – head of the working group;
– Maslennikov A.K. – Executive Secretary of the working group.
3.2.The working group carries out work on:
3.2.1. promotion of the Initiative in legislative and executive bodies of federal, regional and local levels, public organizations and movements, mass media;
3.2.2. to receive the blessing of the Initiative from the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church;
3.2.3. the formation of the Organizing Committee of the Folk Fest by inviting the most authoritative public figures of Russia and representatives of foreign Russian communities;
3.2.4. organizational work on the preparation and conduct of the first Folk Fest on July 12, 2020
